Need a replacement phone for my elderly Mum. She has been using Samsung phones that are all too big now and will struggle with a new UI. Decent camera and battery needed and prefer under 6 inches for her pocket size. She uses BOOST. Is there any such phone?
Please Recommend Small (under 6inch) Budget (under $300) with as Close to Samsung UI

She definitely wants new.
Got the Galaxy A30s a while ago for around $280-ish. It's fairly compact and more pocketable than an older 5.5" Motorola G4 despite the display being 6inch+ (the bezels are super thicc on older phones) but the cameras were pretty underwhelming.
The new 2021 replacement for it is the A32, cost around $350+ when on sale.
Again, it lacks optical image stabilisation (so blurry photos might be more common) but it probably makes up for it with a big 5000mah battery (always a plus since the old folks might forget to charge the device)
I have the A51 and my son has the A52. They are BIG phones. I have big hands and bad eyes, so it suits me, however my son struggles with his having smaller hands. I think they would be too big for Mum.
Sadly none of the current Galaxy-A series are small phones. I know because I have recently in 2020 looked for small sized Samsungs to replace a Galaxy S7 and I only came across the Galaxy A40 (a 5.9inch device). I ended getting the Galaxy A 30s as it was cheaper and in stock at the time.
Probably because the sales of the A40 was disappointing Samsung did not go on to make anymore small screen phones.
You can use the Phone Arena size comparison tool to visualize the size of pretty much any android device. https://www.phonearena.com/phones/size
I recently got my parent the Galaxy S21 (who also demanded a compact device that was as small as the Galaxy S7) for just around $330 after taking advantage of some creative voucher stacking, it was the most compact phone that I could find that had an excellent camera, battery life and performance.
Phenomenal buy. I'll look at options like that. If there are no other options, she might be more receptive to spending more. Thanks for the link.
$300 is my budget also, if I need a phone now this is my choice:
Refurbished Galaxy S9 'Good' condition for $279

I tried to talk her into a refurb but she wants new. All my computers are refurbs and I've had good luck, but it's her choice.
second hand s10e?
