On a related note, does anyone know of a service that will gift you steam games from the US (or elsewhere)?
thanks, does anyone know if it is worth it for small items, I am looking at ebay items, some stuff is really cheap but then the seller will not sent outside USA. Has anyone found a cost effective way to do this.
us to Oz only charges actual postage and then a small fee of 4.5% of total cost. Bargain !!! you get it sent to her and she forwards it. BUy in bulk champ :)
Are you not a rep from www.ustooz.com?

ha ha ha ……….No I am not a rep at all. I googled "coles camera $50" for some details on a current special and came across a post from this site. When i had a look around , I came across the post asking about freight forwarding and as I am currently going through a transaction with this lovely girl I thought Id share info.
I see this site is about sharing good info on bargains……..so……. This girl who I have never met lives in Colorado ( she's an aussie) She had her husband drive to 4 different "Target stores" to buy what it was that I wanted ( only avail in US stuff ) only to come home unwrap it and pack it all into a smaller box so my shipping would be dramatically reduced….. all for a fee of $20 ! yep a lousy $20……..if thats not a bargain I dont know what is !
You wouldnt get me driving to Target for $20 let alone 4 of them , so I will be promoting this lovely girl and her good little idea as much as I can . You want to save dollars then go check her out !!Look at her on Facebook 'ustooz'( the picture of her hubby outside ) is the day he went shopping for me ! Best $20 I ever spent .
You organisers should email her , Im sure you'll too realise that this is a great little money saver and you never know she might give you a discount !
( actually if you introduce a friend you do get a discount) so you will all owe me !!! LOL

I just purchased some cleaning pads from the US. They cost me $87.80 USD and $201.50 AUD to get them freighted to Oz.
The Parcel weighs approx 3.5lbs and the dimensionas are 43x42x65cms.
$201.50 through ShopMate. Auspost version of Freight Forwarding.
I hope that this lass is much cheaper as it really is not worth the exercise otherwise.Hi ozygal,
Is there any chance you could get a quote comparison based on this comment? Thanks 😊
Actually, my Mum badly wants some bags on the US envirosax site that they don't do in Aus, so I might just try her out.
(a discount coupon for envirsax would be a nice bonus - off to hunt one down)
Mmm, not sure about buying small items as the postage is worth more than some of the items I am looking at, I would just say the Sarah from ustooz.com has amazing customer service, I have asked her a couple of questions and she has be very prompt and most helpful.
gotta get some quotes
