Looking to buy one of the LG 65” OLEDs. CX seems to be out of stock & BX is about 2800. Buy BX now or do you reckon should wait for C1 prices to go down (hopefully, in a few months)? Is there a big difference between the 2 models?

Any particular reason you would not suggest BX, other than that it is an outgoing model?
Hmm, didn't know about the lack of 2.1.
Probably because the main motivator for the BX is cost, with the latest OLEDs already significantly lower than the X generation I don't imagine it will be too long for the C1 to drop to a competitive price.
Having all HDMI 2.1, a bit more brightness and a better processor is probably enough to sway me. However I doubt the picture quality between a BX and C1 is that significant, assuming you aren't in a super bright room or play 120hz content.
Yep, C1 is about 3800 already, hopefully another 5-600 down in a few months..
I have purchased the B7 a few years ago (i know not a comparison) and had the same mindset of waiting to buy the 'C' however it will never happen. The prices will still be $700+ apart for both regardless of EOFY sale etc otherwise everyone will be waiting for a reduction for the C series. I love the B7 and you wont regret the BX ( I would def opt for HDMI 2.1 if this model has it) Cheers

I have a new in box (still sealed) 65” CX in Brisbane purchased a few weeks ago. I’m holding off on opening it in case I can get a GX or G1 at a reasonable price. If I do find something I’m happy to pass on the CX for what I paid. If you think you might be interested let me know and it might tempt me to just pull the trigger a bit more :P
You can get a 65" A1 for 3.6 right now. Easy 10% off with giftcards and should be able to haggle a couple hundred off when you buy. I wouldn't be getting a BX.
