Hi folks,
We have over $4000 in Virgin travel bank.
I am just trying to work out if it would be something we can sell here?
Is there anything to prevent people using it?
I was thinking about selling at 10% off?
Thoughts?
Thanks

wow.. thanks, i thought id seen others using it to book for friends with ease. hmmm
Don't take my experience as 100% the official rule — but nonetheless it did seem like a hassle to redeem.
I was able to use my travel bank credit towards my uncle's flight booking. No problems with the flight. It should be possible to sell your credit, but it will take time, effort and possibly offering a bigger discount. The uncertainty introduced by covid will make things like refunds/cancellations harder for you.

The T&C do say
Can my credit be used to make a booking for another person?
Yes, you can make a booking for another person using your credit. However, you cannot transfer the value of your credits adding to the value of travel credits held by another person.
So you would have to book for them.
Virgin wouldn't even let me use my travel-bank credit to book 2 flights in 2 different names, so I doubt 10% off would be enough to absorb the risk they would be taking. On top of this, only limited seats per flight can use travel-bank credit. Gut feel says you'd need to offer it at <50% off for someone to take the risk.
