I came here for the comments.

    …..Is 20 minutes enough?

    • I am waiting too. Would have expected some funny ones…

    • As these go on sale every 2 weeks according to camel camel camel and appear in ozbargain with the same frequency all the usual puns and jokes have been used up.

It's this quiet? My daughter's current one causes a bloody racket waking us in the early hours.

How old is it? More modern diesels are relatively quiet and efficient.

  • Hey rep when will renpho massage gun hit $99 again

  • Tempted to buy, but looking for a massage gun. Any recommendations?

    • Highly recommend the renpho blue or black massage gun! We got one as a present after trying our family members one!

  • How do these types of massage differ to the massage gun style? Genuine question. Do they do the same thing but with different effectiveness and reach?

    • these are great for reaching around behind and massaging your own back

think about how impossible that is with a gun

gun is great for DIY front side of your body

these ones techncailly do any angle since its 90 degree head to handle

      • Thanks for your input. I’m not sure how effective it will be to reach up over my shoulder to get my own back as I’m not flexible so I was thinking of getting my partner to massage me and vice versa. In that case maybe the gun style massager has better control since it’s shorter.

Do they provide the same depth and massage pressure? Is one more vibrating/shaking and the other more pushing and prodding?

        • they are both doing the same action. this one is just angled 90 degrees

the gun ones are powerful as hell. and these stick ones are no slouch either. given the price this is half compared the to $79 gun ones on ebay.
you can still get your partner to help you regardless of what you choose

the gun ones just pinpoint very precisely given youre basically focusing on a single spot very directly

the gun ones are basically a piston head moving forward and back at insane speeds (adjustable up to 20 levels) and come with a hard foam head and other attachments like flat disc and other wierd shapes

so i would say the gun is more pushing and prodding (in a good way) and the stick is more vibrating. its harder to force pressure onto a spot from 90 degree angle if you know what i mean

          • @furythree: Yes that makes sense and is what I worried I couldn’t do to my own back (apply enough force/deep tissue massage using a long handle at 90degrees).

For targeted deep tissue massage I think I’ll go the massage gun. Your comments have been helpful, thanks.
