Gaming Laptop Recommendations - Budget $1500

Hi, I am looking for a good budget priced laptop for under $1500, I have come across this and am not sure if it is a good deal?

    Make sure the laptop is really THICC and has atleast 2 fans to avoid minimize the risk of thermal-throttling.

    i got a refurbed dell off their outlet store. maybe hold out for some EOFY deals?

    What games do you want to play so we can gauge the performance you need?

    What is your appetite for portability vs performance? I.e would you take a more powerful machine that weighs 3kg or a less powerful machine that weighs 2kg and easy to take around? Is it moving around with you, or are you leaving it in place on a desk 24/7?

    What screen size would you like? Would you prefer a higher resolution screen or a faster refresh rate?
