Dell S2721DGF - Soundbar Options

With all the Dell S2721DGF monitors out in the wild on Ozbargain I thought I ask here what soundbars or speakers you have installed?

The monitor unfortunatley does not come with built in speakers and non of the DELL soundbars fit this monitor. Is there any option to install a nice quality but cheap soundbar for this monitor? I don't have a lot of desk space for bookshelf style speakers and want an alternative to my headset.

Would be great to find a suitable soundbar for it. Any ideas?

    I use a laptop speaker clipped to the top of my screen. Something like the Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205 or Z305.

    I used edifier bookshelf, put on floor.
    Soundbar looks good but the quality may not be good. Pls think again about the bookshelf option

    I wouldn't get a soundbar personally. I would get active bookshelf speakers, something like audioengine, edifier or what I actually purchased kanto with a built in dac and class d amplifier : https://kanto.com.au/product/yu2/ they are tiny, sound great and look cool imo.

    Thanks. Sounds like you all don't like sounbdbars. For me it's mainly a space saving thing. But looks like I need to make the space for speakers.

      I like my soundbar but it's only for the occasional Youtube video and conference/voice calls in the background. For music, I've got real speakers. Sorry, I missed your bit about "nice quality". Yeah, nah. Not with a soundbar.

        Hehe … nice quality is always relative. Do you have one which mounts on the DELL S2721DGF?

      Saw these ones … but I guess they sit on the table. Ideally they mount to the bottom of the monitor. But I guess this is impossible with the Dell S2721DGF.

        I have a S2721DGF and I can't see a way to attach speakers to it. My only thought is to use strong 3M Picture Hanging strips and glue it to the bottom of the device. Good luck there!

          I guess I need to make the space for some small bookshelf style speakers. Or might get it mounted on an arm and then see what's possible.
