    I think it's for people who have had premium before, but are now just on a free account. I got the offer. I think for totally new users, they can currently get 3 months free trial.

  This is a response to Amazon Music's three month offer, which ended 26 April, and poached a lot of Spotify users (myself included).

  It is very tempting, as Amazon Music sucks arse.

  The catch obviously is that you have to take it up by June 26, which is clever.

  But it works out cheaper to ride out Amazon for the full three months and then just buy back in at regular price, so I'll do that.

  Hmm, even on Premium you still get full screen ads for random podcasts occasionally that you have to dismiss.
