  • Have heard mixed things about this set, needs a bit of space for a decent track setup and the range is average, concept is cool though. Much better than full RRP if you want to give it a go.

  • any one who has a set comment on it?
interested, seen reviews they seem to says it ok

got one for Christmas. Really good fun when you have people over. The range isn't huge but the visual elements are pretty impressive and it's fairly intuitive. For $100 I'd say it's worth it if you have kids or adults that like to act like kids sometimes.

      • how good is the steering
it is really fast that a young kid would find it hard to steer
maybe it time to buy it

        thanks for the comment

Don't expect it to be like mariokart in terms of drifting or speed. Its pretty basic. But I do like the fact you start off on "50cc" and then when you complete a few races and get on the podium you get the ability to choose faster races (and the kart goes a little faster in real life).

Definitely a good speed for kids.

I have that and my kid loves to play… It's fun.

However, it needs a good space for the track. Best to avoid tight turns.

  • Got Mario one for Christmas, and just ordered the Luigi one. Me, kids and Neighbours kids all love it when we set it up, so looking forward to having 2 karts in the race ;)

My NBN is not very fast so the kids have really struggled using this. It would be great if net wasn't holding it back

    • Not sure why I got negged for this. My NBN is genuinely slow (I only get about 17mbps) at most and using this game really struggled (cuts in and out, car can only go about 5-10m from the switch) and then it loses connection. If I move the switch to another part of the house it is super fun but I'm then quite a long way from the TV. Shrugs.

      • Probably negged because the internet has nothing to do with local play

  • Is there any reason to buy 2 if you have one switch?

Ie can you play against the computer and the second cart is controlled by the computer?
