Got a few from last sale… very thin n poor quality

    • +1

Love it when Threadless have $10 or less deals.
I have to disagree. I've bought about 10 shirts from Threadless in the last 2 years and I find the quality is fantastic. The cotton shirts are made from a rather thick material. There's no way I could find a shirt at this price in Sydney.

    • What I have realised is that, the girl's ones are usually really thin, you can actually see through them. However, the guy's ones are much thicker.

      • I've bought both male, female and kids onesies and they're all a good quality thick cotton. I put my shirts through a lot and wear them frequently and they show no sign of wear or tear.

      • the shirts I get are the ones Threadless get from American apparel & they are fantastic quality. Have they changed suppliers?

        • +2

Threadless used to use American apparel & Fruit of the loom.
However, that is no longer the case, they now source from other unknown suppliers. The quality has dropped significantly.

Those T-Shirt made in the US and Mexico are still of acceptable quality.
If your T-shirt states "made in india" or egypt or thailand, then good luck.

Nah, as always the main link was also the referal link. Everyone tries to hide it initially…It has now been changed.

I agree with the quality huu.

Designs aside, you would not pay more than $5 locally for these shirts. I have bought a few myself and have been given a few more as gifts and I have never seen such thin, flimsy (if you can call fabric that) shirts.

I don't think I've found a t-shirt for $5 in Australia (beyond Kmart polos)? There are some pretty shocking quality shirts in Australia for a lot more (teen range in Myer, I'm looking at you, among others).

It took me a bit to find the $7.50 ones - they're under $8 shirts.

      • Never had a problem with Threadless quality. Though i only wear the shirts. Don't use them for anything else. As good as if not better than $10 shirts out here anyway.

      • I don't think I've found a t-shirt for $5 in Australia (beyond Kmart polos)?

Threadless type tshirts or just tshirts in general? If tshirts and tops in general, I dont think you've been looking hard enough! Ive bought $2.50 tops and shorts from Cotton On, $75 worth for only $7.50 :)

    • Have to agree with Phreakuency, quality is shocking and I will never buy from them again until there is an improvement.

  • Only six designs?
I've seen $5 for all designs, but I have been buying Threadless for a very long time

    • Yeah bring back the $5 'back to school' sales! Back in the day when they were limited to 5 colours for designs etc.
I honestly just wish you could select your shirt colour and get the shirt printed on that design, I'd buy so many more!

  • Again shirt quality is very poor I had hole wear through the front of one of my shirts, never happened to me ever before, lots of loose threads from poor manufacturing.

What ever happened to the American apparel shirts that they used for some designs I have a couple of those & they are fantastic quality.

From the amount of sales Threadless keep having I think there not doing as well as they used to & it seems quality was the first thing to go in order to save/make more money.

    • i thought they printed all their shirts on American apparel tees? Those are fantastic quality

  • I have bought a dozen threadless shirts, they arent consistent with sizes, about 90% of them fit perfectly, there were a couple that were a bit thin, and a couple were smaller than the others but still fit. My flatmate has a dozen shirts he bought at the markets in thailand, and I have noticed he has many threadless designs, so there are places copying the designs and reprinting them. His copies are pretty crappy quality, where as none of mine bought from threadless have faded or fallen apart.
