ToolPRO Car Polisher 180mm $83.99 (Was $119.99) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Supercheap Auto

60

If you want something polished up to a mirror finish, you need a machine with a stack of grunt - and the ToolPRO rotary Car Polisher is exactly that machine. Built around an ultra reliable 240 volt motor, this polisher delivers 1200 watts of consistent power across a variable speed range from 600 to 3300 RPM. All those numbers add up to a lot of polishing (and even a little sanding - if you want) so to help you deliver the power to your panels without compromising controllability, the ToolPRO car polisher features a sturdy auxiliary handle, and is operated by a trigger with lock function.

The push-button spindle lock makes changing pads an absolute breeze, and the safety cut off switch prevents you from polishing yourself when you do it. Once you’ve applied a pad to the machine, and some polish to your pad - following the requirements of your polish manufacturer, of course - then simply set the dial to the speed you need, and get started. Let the polisher do all the work - your job is to simply guide it around and let it know when to stop. If you are worried that all that polishing power might wear out the brushes in the motor, then the easy access port and spare brushes should help ease your mind. That and the ToolPRO 3 year warranty.

  • Combine it with Meguiars Ultimate Pack | Compound, Polish, Wax on sale from $119.99 to $89.99.

I think I know what I need to get rid of the scratches on my bike tank.

Edit: So I called my local SuperCheap and while they don't have this pack on their website, they will put all 3 items together in a pack and price match the AutoMegaStore price for the total of $89.99 (single items are $128.97 if you buy separately).

Perfect way to add haze and halo's to your duco if you have NFI what you are doing.

If the above means nothing to you then don't buy this rotary. Get yourself a dual action polisher.

    • So this is no good for compound, polish and wax? Any other recommendation?
Worst case I'll do it by hand. The new bike pants came with zippers on the inside of the thighs for the knee pads and scratched the sh!t out of the tank last weekend.

      • Get a dual action (da) polisher. Less chance of destroying your duco.

For a motorbike just hand polish as this unit and most da's are too big. Try scratch X or similar and take it very easy. If you can feel the scratches with your finger nail then none of the above will work.

        • Yeah, it’s pretty deep in a few spots. Quite pissed off with the pants and I will be returning them, but that won’t fix the scratches 😭

          • @ItsGod: Dang! Time to find a good spray painter.

@Muzeeb: Can I use MS Paint?

@ItsGod: Only if you want a really bad result using web safe colours.

  • Not a bad polisher, but I'd recommend to get a dual action polisher for beginners or even professional. We use dual action polishers at our dealership cuz they have less chance of burning through the clear coat and leaving any buff marks. I've got the dual action toolpro polisher which I've used alot and it does the job pretty well.
