eSIM budget deal

I am after a esim with a budget deal. I have a telstra sim in the phone and want to put my personal phone into the work one however it only takes esim for the second network.

Anyone got any ideas? Cheers

    Boost 12 months about $180

You can convert your work Telstra one to an esim and get any physical sim as second line

Note you cannot convert the Boost SIM to eSIM.

So make sure your work is happy to contact Telstra and convert your existing SIM to eSIM. If you work for a large company regular Telstra staff are unable to make changes to the service and a SIM change needs to be requested by your work to the Telstra enterprise team.

I tried doing this, finding someone to approve it at work was a nightmare in a big company, basically no one wanted to deal with it.

Wound up going with Optus as a result. Right now you can get 50GB for $25 a month for the first 12 months which isn't bad (or if WFH $15 for 10GB). MVNO's are now approved for using eSIMs in Australia, they just need to get around to setting it up. Could switch to Boost once that happens.
