We have received a quote to replace our current one with this 60cm Stainless Steel Gas Cooktop (in $300-$350 range)

Have you googled how much a 'better' brand costs?

Currently pricing similar sized gas SS cooktop. Used Choice's recommendation - looking at $678 for a Fisher & Paykel.

I bought a Delonghi DEGH60 a couple of years ago from Good Guys for $329 (on sale from $399). Looks like the RRP has gone up by a few hundred since then :( Looking at the "Daniela" it seems an almost exact replica of what I got. For $300 why not.
