While I haven't used this particular thumb drive, I wouldn't want to be writing a lot of data often to this type of drive. They're usually quite slow.
What I have found these very useful for is when travelling (not much in last 14 months obviously) having one of these loaded up with TV shows/movies to stick in the hotel/apartment TV or work laptop for evening viewing.
It's slow and can get hot but it's cheap and handy due to having type C and A. I use mine with a smaller capacity to move around media between my desktop, laptop and phone.
R 150-160MB/s
W 60MB/s maxI have this drive. Crystaldiskmark scores are:
Sequential read/write: 159.6 / 55.1 MB/s
4K random read / write: 7.85 / 2.82 MB/s. Not too terrible for a cheap drive.I have a more expensive Patriot Supersonic Rage that does 400 MB/s sequential read and 200 MB/s sequential write (Crystaldiskmark) as it is like a mini thumbdrive SSD (Phison controller), but the random write is only 0.02 MB/s. LOL
How does it compare to this? - Sandisk 256GB Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive - SDCZ430-256G-G46, Black https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07857Y17V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_g…
While I can't help with your comparison, the SanDisk Ultra Flair is way faster than this USB C-A one (with the disadvantage of not having the C connector)
If your one (the ultra fit) is better or comparable to the ultra flair then your one is better, you'd only get this one (the OP C-A one) if you want the functionality of C and A (I use it for my phone to computer transfers)

IS this decent write and read spead?
