I got this a few months ago, and was disapppointed. Part way through the game, I fell down somewhere and there was no way I could get back up to where I was. Basically, my only option was to re-start from the beginning, but I chose not to because the game just wasn't that captivating. Even though I was less than 2 hours into it, I couldn't get a refund because I didn't get the key through Steam (I got it on Kinguin). Anyway, lesson learned.

Completely different experience. Got it free a few month ago and finished the game on the same day. Amazing game. Graphics, story, control all perfect in my opinion. Cant wait for the sequel to be on sale ( or free :)

I didn't particularly enjoy the game either. In all fairness I did try to play the game on a TV with a noticeable amount of input lag, but I found the platforming sections frustrating and the save points too far away in some of them. The controls are a bit looser than I would have liked as well. I enjoyed the aesthetic and the general creepiness but for the most part the platforming frustration was that I remember the most. Your mileage may vary. It is definitely worth playing if only to see the wonderful environments though.

Doesn't compare to Inside or Limbo, or even Unravel. Not a bad game by any means, but the fact that I could get stuck like that in the game so easily, indicates poor design/testing.

    • Quitting the game and loading the save should put you back at the most recent checkpoint
The game did have some annoying platforming parts but overall I liked it.
I didn't experience any bugs, it seems you got really unlucky finding a game-breaking one

      • I tried that, it put me back but i couldn't progress further because whatever I used to progress in the first instance (can't remember) was no longer there. i.e. the developer hadn't contemplated that someone would ever go through this area again so they didn't bother "resetting" the area back to how it should be, even after exiting and re-loading.
