OzGameShop Shipping Problems.

Okay, I ordered a copy of Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition from Ozgameshop, today when I received it I found that the packaging and Microsoft Seal were already sliced on the side as if they were checked. When I opened the box up, the side of the box which closes the box broke apart and the top area of the case broke as well. Since the side that closes the box broke into pieces, I can't close my copy of the game.
This isn't the second time this has happened, I also got Tekken 6 Limited Edition from Ozgameshop, one side of the packaging it came in was squashed, and inside the hoodie there were little inspected tags on them. I didn't worry about this though as the contents inside were still okay. However, this time I can't store the game properly so I'm wondering is there any way of fixing this, should I contact Ozgameshop?

Edit: Oops, I posted in the wrong forums, is there any way I can move this to General?

  • Oops, I posted in the wrong forum, can I delete this?

    • Fixed.

  • You could always use a different box to store the game in..Will be different colour but it should work. However, it wouldn't hurt to contact them about the problem and see what they have to say.

I've never had my games opened by inspection when I've ordered anything from ozgameshop before but I've had one or two cases cracked but nothing serious.

  • Hi Feepitee, sorry to hear about the damage to the box - it sounds as though it's been battered a bit in the post or it could have been opened by customs if the seal has been split. Drop our customer services team an email via the contact form on the website (http://www.ozgameshop.com/contact) and they'll look into it for you. Cheers, Rob

    • Yeah I did send one yesterday, thanks :), it was quite… angrily-worded. I didn't have the best of days yesterday, with Optus refusing to fix our Internet so I had to tether internet from my Vodafone phone.

  • Customs have been cracking open game cases for years, nothing new, usually looking for nose candy

    • Yeah I know they do inspect game cases, but I didn't think they would break a case until its unusable though.

      • They aren't the sharpest tools in the shed…
