Some great deals for these games. Yes, Biomutant was $4.65 on the weekend but you will not see that price again for quite a while. It was only available for an hour or so and was likely a mistake by EA (which they seem to have honoured as I am downloading now!).
Don't forget to apply the discount code to get the prices in the title. Also use a card or payment method with no fees as you will be paying in USD.

Enjoy!

I'm assuming you cant use the Bethesda key in steam?

so sick of having so many different "stores" for my games…

  • Isn't Biomutant basically full price?

I paid <$5 for Biomutant with the latest EA screw up, can't believe they gave it to us

    • I did too and am still stoked about it. But given what they wrote I was pretty confident they could not back out as there was a valid contract.

      • Sales that are the result of pricing errors are allowed to be cancelled by retailers. They couldn’t have not offered the refund and told people they had to keep the DLC but given the order page stated it was for the standard edition of the game.

But they have to prove it is a pricing error and given the deep discounts sometimes I think it would have been hard to prove for EA that the price was a pricing error and that it would have been unreasonable for people that this was a legitimate price.
Plus, once the money is actually taken from your account it becomes even more difficult.

          • @Lysander: There’s “deep discounts” and there’s $4AUD for a game retailing for $99 on other shopfronts. This was for a preorder sale, not some 6+ months later. Never mind that the billing history actually listed the item with the name of the DLC and that the price a few hours later shot back up to $99. Ohh and the games published by THQ rather than EA so the deep discount doesn’t make a huge deal of sense.

Let’s be realistic, I don’t think they’d have any trouble proving it was an error. It’s nice they followed through with it but. I’m sure they didn’t want people’s first experience with the EA client to be a negative one.

@Smigit: I have won cases like these before tribunals without much fuss. It all turned on the fact there was a valid contract, reaction time, and reasonableness.
Given the Epic freebies it would be easier these to prove that this could have been a 1 hour flash promotion to get people talking. Plus the DLC name was the included preorder DLC. And on two different screens it stated we bought the game, plus in the e-mail they sent when the preload became available. On the balance of of probability with three incidences to one, it was reasonable for people to believe that in fact the receipt with the DLC name on it was the mistake.
Anyway, thankfully EA was nice and gave the game even to the people who refunded.

    • awwh what did i miss : (

    • I couldn't believe it too. I couldn't believe it was so painfully average either after I played it for two hours. :<

  • Biomutant is receiving pretty bad reviews. Notably due to the narrator and emptiness of the open world. Is anyone enjoying it and can advise whether the reviews are accurate?

Was keen on this one even had it preordered since early 2020.

The steam reviews are quite accurate, a lot of people expected this to be on par with Zelda but it’s just a beautiful but empty world. Worth a play if you can get it below retail but the dialogue is like waiting for a translator to explain something each time. That being said I gave up on it due for those reasons.

      • noooo, the trailer looked so good though

        • It looks so pretty

      • Great, thanks for reconfirming. Shame, was really pumped for it until Amazon cancelled my preorder for unknown reasons about a month ago (probably because when I preordered the PS4 version it was less than $50 if memory serves me)

Sadly, it's accurate. Played for two hours then couldn't bear to continue anymore.
