Heads up that the Spitfire Audio Spring Sale is on again. Usually their best sale of the year.

Excluding their US$29 products, it's 40% of individual libraries, up to 65% off of collections, and there area few special sale-only bundles for 50% off.

If you're not sure what this is, it's instrument sample libraries for use in music production software (Ableton, Logic, Reaper etc.). Spitfire have really nice libraries, tending towards orchestral/classical scoring, and it's reflected in their usual pricing, so any sale is welcome.

I grabbed BBC SO Core straight away, and I've got a full wishlist to think about this weekend.

  And for those who are interesting and aren't aware Spitfire does a series called LABS which are totally free and the majority are actually quite high quality. There's a really great charango, felt piano, and mandolin that I use alot.

    LABS is fantastic, I use it all the time, often in preference to paid libraries I also own, great for finding something new to get the creative juices flowing

  If you already have the previously free Discover version of BBC SO, you can get BBC SO Core for US$240 rather than $269, too.

  If only they had a payment plan system along the lines of Splice. :)
