Cheapest Bali return flight

Hello, I want to goto bali in april for around 1 week.

The cheapest I have seen is $510, how can I find a cheaper flight, I was thinking of paying $300. Also when traveling back, I plan to buy some cigarettes, how much are they and how much would I be allowed to bring back. Also I want to bring back cheap alcohol, what is the maximum you are allowed. I will be going over with a friend who has been there before and will beable to stay in a very cheap place. I also want to buy new clothes and shoes, I likely will be going over without even a bag.

Thankyou so I can buy about 1 carton and 2 packs, I will be buying malbro, how much are they over there. Also those this limit include a open pack on you say in your pocket?

So with the alcohol I should try to get 100% proof vodka or something?

    • check out dutyfree as you leave. see what the price is. that gives you an idea. they will be cheaper in Indonesia as the cost of selling them is buggar all. I'd buy them there.

I'm off to asia in July and a work buddy wants PJ's. so I will buy them in duty free when i get back to australia. (you can buy them when you return) PJs are a brand name that I don't know if you can get in INdonesia and my work buddy is happy to get them without most of the tax. Malboros you can get anywhere in the world.

how much are they? if you smoke then you know they are way cheaper out of country.

when I was in Japan 7 years ago they were $5 for a pack of 20s.
in china they were 50cents for a pack of 20s.

booze - get it leaving indonesia or the way back in. get something nice that that you ordinary would not buy. e.g. good scotch. I used to always buy smirnoff blue. this time I'm going for some mid-price cognac.

  • Small disaster at the minute over there, maybe worth holding off for a bit. http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/indonesian-storm-death-…

    • It's wet season, that's to be expected.

  • That kind of stuff happens all the time over there

  • maybe go with garuda…they have special at the moment $299 return with tax for 10 days stays (PER - DPS)

  • I paid $240 return (Perth) including 20kg baggage, using price match on jetstar… but this was a month or so ago.

  • Where are you flying from? Hitch to Darwin and save some $$.

  • SYDNEY, good idea about hitching but would take too long.

  • +1

You are not getting flights for $300 return from Sydney in April, believe me. I'm going in May and the cheapest I could find ended up being around $550 return.
