  • they should release the LTE version soon, else samsung will eat the market soon with new os

    • More than OS, everyone will be interested to see how a 5nm chipset is going to perform.. Nice move As Snapdragon was treating Android Watch makers with their shit chipsets.
Battery life will be much better :)

    • are you sure you want the LTE and then charge the watch twice a day (that is if lucky).

      • I'm using the Gen 1 LTE model, was able to use 3g instead of LTE to save battery, and only turns on when away from phone. and hardly drains battery since I use offline playback while at gym. And battery lasts 36 hours.
This one has bigger battery and better chip so i assume its going to have better stand by.

main purpose is to stay available to family in case of sudden emergency (Have kid with special needs).

  • think there is a promo for ear buds when you buy together

  • What about trading in my Pro 2020 ?

Looks like a very capable smartwatch. Has anyone got first hand experience with this watch? Looking at buying this as my Samsung S3 Frontier has just died.

Got it a couple of weeks ago and love it. With all sensors on and notifications on, I get 2.5-3 days on a single charge. The dual screen is great and having Google Pay on your wrist is very handy too. It feels surprisingly light on the wrist too. I upgraded from a Huawei watch and would definitely recommend it. If you have any questions, ask away.

      • may i know what's the available storage for user?
        I know its 8gb total.

        • +1

Just checked and it is 5.05 GB. I have used up 700 MB out of that from the Apps that I have installed.

          • @gadgetfreak28: Thank you, my current ticwatch has only 2gb user memory out of 4gb of total.
This helps to add more mp3 into watch. How they catchup with apple watch which supports 32gb.

            • @hopper: I am one of those people who don't even have a clue about what happens in the Apple world. Everything around me and everyone in the family has an android/google device. TBH I don't use the watch to store music etc but it is a great watch.

      • Can you please let me know if YouTube Music (Google Music) runs on this and if there is a way of running it offline, without being paired to a mobile.

        • +1

Just went to play store on the watch and both Youtube music and Google music return no results when searched for so the answer is no. Don't know if there is any way around it but this is from a quick search that I did. Hope that helps.

        • Nope, i just sideloaded my downloaded YouTube playlist. Takes 5 mins for whole process. All over wifi.

  • I'm looking at galaxy watch 3 but this looks great…hard decision, does anyone have both and a preference?

  • Bit of a hard sell at the moment until we know later in the year, if it will get the new Wear update or not
