  • With these Costco deals, you don't need to print out the "coupons". Prices have been adjusted, in other words, these are just discounts.

    • with an added cost of $60 for a membership the price is not available to the public or an accurate price posted in the title.

    • Yes. I misread your post completely. Sorry.

    lol…

  • are they good gps?

  • with this price, I think it's a pretty good deal, live traffic update.

    • do you their type ? LT or LMT ?

      • I guess it's LT,

    • and The voice command function is good.

  • Tempted to buy this, but wonder if this is any better than the TomTom Via 160. I couldn't get it to pair with my Alcatel phone but can live with it if actual navigation is bad on the Garmin.

    • tomtom is better imo - Via 160 is around $130 now so I don't think this Garmin is a bargain.

  • The important thing is whether it has lifetime map updates. I have a garmin with lifetime traffic updates but I would sure prefer free lifetime Map updates. to update your maps with Garmin cost $99 or for a lifetime $189 thats just the life of the unit

  • For those interested in getting a reasonable GPS, the Navman MY80T is $148 this weekend at JB - HiFi (on special at $189 less a further 20% off), pretty good price given that it was $299 last year. Comes with 3 years of free maps too.

      is this navman my80t better than Garmin 2360 ??

      • +1

        depends on what you want, garmin have voice command, navman doesnt have, both have live traffic update…

      • not sure of the merits of both - the Garmin seems to have more support in oz. BTW, with the 20% off the Garmin 2360 is selling for $194 at JB this weekend for those who can't get the Costco deal.

          another option, good,

          My deal wasn't quite as good by the Good Guys in Midland brought it downs to $199 from $218. JB in Midland wouldn't come down to below there 20% off which only made it $236.

  • when you buy Garmin watch the difference between LT, LM , LMT different retailers sell different versions

    http://www8.garmin.com/automotive/lmt/

    LT = lifetime traffic updates

    LM = lifetime map updates

    LMT = lifetime map and traffic updates

  • Can anyone confirm if this 2360 model voice command doesn't work? I tried to use Voice command to Find Address or Find Town but it says "this feature is not available for Australia". Or does anyone knows how to get it to work? Thanks
