        Ikea table tops are either 60 or 65 cm in depth so probably won't fit, otherwise a great budget option.

    Just realised my ikea tabletop is only 63cm in depth but I’ve already ordered. Will it still work or will I need a new tabletop which is over 70cm

      63cm shouldn't be any issue as mounting pads are 60cm in my opinion, 70cm is foot depth so you will have little projection.
      Some one like me it will bother though …………….Not sure if you can return / exchange table top from ikea ?

    Delivered fairly quickly. Happy with the quality.

    Paired with a $35 SKARSTA 160x80cm Table top from the IKEA clearance section.
    Not the greatest Table top for screwing into without putting some proper grommets. But it will do for now.

    Wish I had of done this 18 months ago! My back is already thanking me.

      I am still waiting for mine (Lucky we are in west coast) and thinking of same table top. if you had to do it all again which table top option will you choose (I got restriction 120cm)??
      Did supplier deliver table with screws for table top install??
      Table top should have been easy to aling in terms of lengths but how about depth - any recomendations?

        IKEA top is just my temp solution. It’s got holes and grommets underneath to fit the IKEA frame. They don’t line up to this units frame. It’s basically a big bit of covered cardboard. I’ll later get some some solid timber like SpecRite 28mm Merbau Table Top and cut it to the same dimensions.

        Frame came with 20mm screws in the box for fixing a table top.
        I just centred it on the frame for depth.

        Feet are 70cm deep. Table top bracket is 60cm. So if you want it flush against a wall you’ll want 75cm+ to account for feet against skirting board. 70cm is fine if you want same depth as the feet and room for cables at the back.

    For future readers - Received this fairly quick and assembled it yesterday.

    Instructions weren’t ikea-clear but put it together in a little over an hour. Adjusts height quickly, fairly quietly. Paired it with a $50 1.4x0.6 ikea bench top and works well. I can’t say anything about longevity yet but very happy with the purchase so far.

    I ordered one of these desk frames on the 10th of June. The price history of the item shows what I paid for it - suffice to say it was a bargain. It stayed at a certain price level for just over 20 minutes, went back up to ~$330, and went back down again later until the last unit was sold. I was very lucky to have been browsing for desks here at exactly the right time…

    I would have posted a comment here at the time, but the price had gone back up once I had finished typing, so I decided to wait until the item showed up.

    The desk arrived today, and it is certainly not the fastest / sturdiest / most silent model out there, not to mention the 69cm-117cm height range is somewhat limiting. However, the desk is fully functional, the height range works for my height (~180cm), and the desk doesn't wobble when I type at full height. I feel that it would stand up to most other eBay units in the $300-$400 price range. If you're looking for a desk frame, it may be worth monitoring future price fluctuations from this store.
