Been in the market for an upgrade. This one looks interesting and weighing up between this one and the recent Legion Pro 5 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/618655).
The TDP on this 3070 is 115+10w.

According to Mash IT review there’s a mux switch option in bios
Forgive my ignorance but why is the legion much better in specs?

Because Dell will fail one day out of warranty………………
This is link to the AMD 5000 based Legion deal I posted earlier this year if you have an education account.
Twice the amount ram, TWP of GPU is a bit higher (more performance) and the screen is unreal 16:10 ratio of 2k goodness.
Also worth mentioning additional warranty was cheap when I upgraded my L5P to 3 years onsite (cost was $165) instead of standard 1 year depot warranty. I'm not sure of the cost for Dell additional warranty but doubt it would be that cheap.
$375 for 3 years on-site support from Dell (usually ~$700)
@Oxenfree123: Nice 👍
L5P had suuuuper long delivery times though, like not arriving until September.
also worth noting that you need education store access whereas this is open to all
Interesting…the legion was definitely better value for specs but I cant imaging the m15 will be worse in games due to how good its cooling solutions are. its alienware so would retain the better resale value as well. Don't think theres any benchmarks out yet for this ryzen model? Do anyone know if it have a mux switch or not?
