Hey OB!
If you had $5000 to spend on a (>=75”) TV right now at JB, what’s your pick?
Usage will be for a adults retreat/bar and some PS5 gaming.
Help?

CX
C1 you mean. CX are gone now
No I didn't mean that.
CX models aren't gone.
Below are links to the 48" & 55" models with plenty still in stock. Some stores still have stock of the 65" & 77" models too even though they're no longer listed on their website….grabbed one last weekend.

65 CX, GX or C1 OLED
Assuming it won't be put in a room with lots of ambient light
None of the picks so far are >= 75". I bought an 85 inch X9000H for just over 4k last week. Still awaiting delivery
Let me know how you go!
X9000H in an 85" for sure. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/sony-x9000h-85-4k-full-ar…
OLED are great for the first year, but then they just get dimmer and dimmer. Full array's are going to maintain their brightness for many years. High quality panels like the X9000 will have far less blooming then a cheaper one. OLED's arent immune to blooming either, the bright spots reflect off the glass and bloom in adjacent areas.
I went to see this range in store today and it was by far the pick - looked lovely!
Have mine hanging on my wall since yesterday and while I haven't looked at it too much as yet i'm very impressed so far. Also JB Hifi price matched it to $4050 for me against the GoodGuys cashback offer Paid $100 extra then for wall mounting. Standard delivery, setup and removal of boxes etc. was included
Note they also have half price on the HT-8500 Soundbar when you buy the tv. I got it for a second room but haven't tried yet.
For reference my main tv is a 65" X9500G, couldn't be happier with it. crisp colours, dark blacks, super fast refresh, minimal blooming, and runs android tv native. No external boxes required.
Guys, I'm in a similar situation. Looking to get a 85" tv.
Am eyeing the Sony x9000h or the Samsung qn85a. Any thoughts on how these 2 compare? Having read a few reviews, my only concern for the Sony is viewing angle, so thinking whether I should pay extra to get the samsung for the wider viewing angle..
Cheers.
An OLED TV.
