Need help on finding a good deal for a TV

Hi all, I want to get my parents a new TV. I'm looking for a 42" model LCD, for under $600.

Hopefully i'm looking for a 1080p model with a pretty decent picture quality
Any help would be much appreciated.

I am fairly sure that LG LCD/LED tv's still come with 3 year warranty… their plasmas did drop to 1 year.

I would not consider either of the ones you linked above.

Also check out the latest range of Soniqs instore… I saw some recently and they were damn good, both in picture quality and price.
