  • That's an awesome price, almost the same as 1ch. Wish I could afford this right now…

    • +1

AfterPay and Zip are available 😉 haha

  • Hi rep - can you do a deal if I'm getting 3? Will need installation as well (for a Merc GLC, a BMW X4 and an Audi Q5). What's the best you can do for all three together? Thanks

    • Do you work for a bank? High yield?

      • Lol yes, I bought these 3 cars after selling my high yield A200 “AMG”, which skyrocketed in price after Elon tweeted about a shortage in second hand cars :) hip hop hooray

    • +3

The best we'd be able to do is work on the installation price. Cannot move anymore on price.

      • Yes sorry I wasn’t clear above. I didn’t mean lowering the price on the units. I meant can you give me a better price on the installs if I get those three cars done at the same time? If yes, how much can you do the three installs for?

        • PM me for the install rate I can do.

  • How much would installation be for a Toyota CHR?

    • +1

      $180

    • I’ll install it for $20 lol

      • I'll hire you for that price. I hope you're in Sydney

      • that's considered cheap. local workshop quoted me $320 for my Yaris GR. Insane.

        • That's overpriced. It's a pretty standard install. Main difference is that the rear camera cable needs to fed through hatch via some holes as it doesn't have plastic trim to pull apart.
A mobile installer was $200, strathfield car radios was $220 or $250. Autobahn was less than $200. All for the GR Yaris. Ended up doing it myself.

          • @8azinga: you reckon random installers knows how to feed it through the hatch? is there a manual somewhere?

            • @dukeGR4: Not sure what you mean by random installer but anyone who installs these should know how to use feed wires (not sure if that is the correct term). Diy's usually just use cable ties. You feed them in from the reverse end, attach the cable to it and then pull it back through which brings the cable to where you want.
There is no manual. It's general knowledge type stuff.

  • Good price. Bought full price 2 weeks ago.

    • +2

You paid full price?!? What are you doing on a bargain forum?

      • Well, needed it for a new car and didn't want to wait.

    • +1

Correct, but we'll install it, and have stock on hand 😉

    • Also strathfield car radios, repco, dashcams Australia.
      It's a run out sale.

  • For a second I thought it had 2ch audio haha

    • Haha, now that'd be a feature!

  • Does this need magic pro? Can I use the wiring from my current 650-2s and just plug in?

    • +1

The Blackvue X-Series doesn't require a Power Magic Pro for hardwiring. Unfortunately, your car would require rewiring.

    • +1

Power magic pro isn't needed. The functions that pmp does are built in to the 750x and it comes with a hardwire kit or cigarette lighter.

  • does it take micro SD?

    • Yes, from product page:

Supports up to 256GB Micro SD Card

  • Hi. Not familiar with this dash cam. If I wanted parking monitoring does it require a battery add on?

Installation cost for a range rover?

    • Yeah, if you click the link and go to the page, there's three different batteries you can select. You're looking at around 5-7 hours for the first, 15-17 hours and around 24 hours for the last option. Installation is $180.

  • Good price, it's a shame the shipping is quite high (for me anyway).

    • Shipping is direct quote from AusPost. Where abouts are you (post code)?

  • Got the 32GB one installed - could not be happier with the service at Bankstown.

    • Thanks! Glad to hear good feedback!

  • Unrelated, but not really, how easy is it to uninstall this if you get a new car?

  • Hi @rep, I am back in Sydney on Tuesday - will it be too late to come and buy with this price ?
