What’s inside?
Sugar, Water, Colour (150d), Food Acids (338, 331, 330), Sweeteners (955, 950), Natural Flavour, Caffeine, Maltodextrin, Preservative (211).
Real Pepsi ingredients don’t include sweeteners;
Carbonated Water, Sugar, Colour (Caramel E150d), Acid (Phosphoric Acid), Flavourings (including Caffeine).
The syrups are the Kosher version
If you buy Pepsi Max, yes it uses sweeteners.
If you down voted this try tasting them side by side with the real soda, or just compare the ingredients with real soda!
What is thjis meant to be used for?
Cordial but pepsi flavored?
used in conjunction with a sodastream device to make your own pepsi at home.
Now and then I'm too lazy to fizz my water… so I add a bit of syrup to cold water just for some taste… I guess it IS cordial that tastes like Pepsi!
Locally Pepsi Max is also at this same price of $7.

This is two for $7, Pepsi Max is 1 for $7, so very much not the same price,
Anybody know if this turns out tasting the same as pepsi? Don't have a sodastream but I'm really curious if it actually tastes like the real thing.
They are nothing like the real Pepsi. No matter how much or little syrup you use, or what level of carbonation is used.
The Pepsi is way sweeter, less chemical flavoured than the real Pepsi though.
The Mountain Dew looks like more orange than green/yellow or whatever it's meant to look like and doesn't taste bad, but doesn't taste like Mountain Dew at all.
Mirinda is a decent one. If you want super artificial orange flavour, it's probably the best out of all of them. Better than Fanta for sure!
7UP… awful. Tastes worse than the real thing.
Haven't tried Pepsi Max. Don't really want to lol
Love pepsi max.
I've borrowed a sodastream and trying out the flavours so far:
Mountain Dew - Average
Cream Soda - Green? WTF Musky taste not like vanilla cream soda (tastes like musk candy)
Creaming Soda (Sodaking) - More vanilla'ery but not the same as the schweppes one
Pepsi max - yes
lemon lime - ok
lemon lime and bitters - nice
tldr, these taste like a pepsi which has been opened and left in the fridge for a few days, its flatter pepsi as far as I care,
End of the day its a sugary drink,
You control the bubbles.
I am no longer supporting Sodastream. There are better tasting, more ethical solutions that are Australian made.

Your links refer to geopolitical awareness campaigns.
Can you link to the "better tasting, more ethical solutions that are Australian made" which I'd be happy to explore.
For a like for like comparison, it's Soda King.

My favourite Aus soda syrup

I miss the mojito flavour. It was great!!
Try this Aus company - better tasting too
These all taste terrible, they use sweeteners rather than sugar. Don’t but this and expect the same flavour or mouth feel.
If you do like the flavour then it’s a good deal 👍🏻
