Saw this deal while browsing on soundbars. It’s amazing how retail stores sell this for $2k. Just bought this from JBHiFi. They were happy to price match but reluctantly gave me the $300 promo gift card. Also bought a TV with them which I used it for. Enjoy!

Are you talking aboug the Q-Symphony? It’s just a marketing gimmick to make you buy their TV’s. It’s great with other TV’s as well.

Doesnt it use the microphone on the tv to do something? I watched the promo video and got put off by that part
As long as you have eARC on your tv, you can take full advantage of it. Q-Symphony is basically like dolby vision or dts x showcasing multidirectional sound. You can get that with other tv’s with eARC support too.
Good price - great deal with the JB price match and gift card! Which JB was this? And did you just show them the GG Commercial website?
Yes with no hesitation whatsoever. But with bing lee and HN, they were shocked with the price and uprfront told me they can’t do anywhere near it. JBHiFi Blacktown.

TBH I was a bit disappointed with these on Dolby Atmos content. The back channels are hardly heard.

How did you approach this with JB Springvale? Usually im in Melbourne and Springvale my local, this weekend though i was in Sydney as per my other post tried and failed to get multiple jb hifis here including the ops jb hifi store to price match.
Did you mention this post? They agreed to price match good guys commercial? Cause when ive asked at tbe branches they try and check and see the regular good guys price, then if i mention commercial they immediately said no

Op i think you got lucky. I wouldve just tried blacktown as well but they dont have stock. So far jb artarmon and top ryde ive asked, immediately refused saying its a commercial price, only do it if jb hi fi commercial matches or something and disregarded that blacktown had done it
Castle towers refused as well
Ok i went to jb hifi blacktown as op had, ust to try. They said no it shouldn't have been pricematched at all. I even showed this ozbargain post and asked if the receipt was screenshot would it have made a difference. They said no it shouldn't have been matched
Also to add i have access to good guys commercial so was not just screenshot the price or saying i saw a post

Sorry guys for the late reply. I didn’t pay much attention to this post cos it didn’t make much traction. Maybe indeed I got lucky with the gift card. Mt Druitt said I can’t have both the PM and the GC. It was a different story with Blacktown or maybe just the salesperson. I think they were just desperate to get rid of their display LG CX. I don’t know how to post my receipt, sorry everyone. It did say on the receipt, buying as a bundle with TV as the reason for GC.

this is a decent unit if you dont want components :) would recommend especially at this price point.
