Dell 27" S2721DGF QHD 144Hz (165Hz on DP) IPS Gaming Monitor $428.80 Delivered (W/ 5 Year Warranty) @ Dell eBay

1080
PNVDG20

Bit more expensive than the deal yesterday, however this one comes with a 5 year warranty again and $20 cheaper than the previous deal. Seems to be a good deal for only $20 more for 2 years extra warranty.

The additional 2 years warranty is an extra $79 usually on their website, so for an additional $20 here it seems to be good value. I haven't seen this offered separately before on their eBay store with additional warranty.

Can also stack with discounted eBay gift cards also for further savings.

  • Cheers @doweyy

Was gonna purchase my third yesterday when the LOVEKEANU coupon stopped working. I’ve got 3 $50 vouchers sitting in my eBay (two from sales one from eBay Plus Signup) anyone got any advice as to how I could go about using all 3 in one purchase or I’m outta luck

    • +1

Out of luck on that one unfortunately, can't stack any vouchers with each other, can only stack vouchers and gift cards together.

      • Now to work out the best way to have 3 on my desk at once ^_^

        • +1

You've got a month to work it out.

          • @Shwayne: Turns out I need a new desk too. Today has been expensive :P

  • In hunt for a type c monitor..32inch…anyone can help with suggestion?

  • Such a good monitor… just so hard to convince yourself its (enough) better than the Gigabyte or Viewsonic competitors at almost 25% less. Gah.

  • Who is ichadj!? I want a custom listing too!

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/324633850312?hash=item4b95af71c8…

  • Wish I was cashed up at moment, I'd buy a couple.

  • +1

Nooo, I waited for the other one to expire so I wouldn't be tempted, why do you do this to me. D:

    • Be strong, brother, for mother!

    • stack it with the 10% deals!

  • +1

any idea how long this deal would go for? woolies apparently doing 10% on swap gift cards… do we risk it?

    • +1

hey guys! bought it with Woolies SWAP gift cards.
so extra savings of 10% bringing it down to about $385!

For gaming this is really good but for reading and office work I find that text is quite blurry and unclear even after adjusting clear type settings. Maybe because I’m too used to Apple retina displays.

    • +2

Are you commenting on the 1440p resolution in general or this particular display?

    • +4

I use this for gaming and work. Absolutely love it, kills my 2nd 1080p monitor (AOC 24G2). I don't get any blurry text at 1440p

      • +1

Same, I have this and compared to my 1080ps from a few years back this is a lot easier to read

      • I'm guessing you have a work laptop. How do you have two monitors connected?

        • Both monitors have enough ports on the back so they are always plugged in. For 27inch I use DP for my gaming pc and HDMI for laptop, then both HDMI on 24inch. My laptop has a HDMI and USB C (convert to HDMI). Don't have a perfect solution for my wireless mouse and keyboard so I just swap these easily when needed

  • Is this a worthy upgrade from the S2719DGF (TN)?

    • ips is usually beter than ips. hows the screen quality for the TN panels?

    • For general gaming, probably not. The S2719DGF is pretty good for a TN panel.

  • Just a note for anyone looking to order this, it won't arrive for 3-4 weeks.

Delivery: Estimated between Tue. 22 Jun. and Tue. 29 Jun.

Edit: according to the other listings it takes ~11 days despite this warning.

    • I bought this the other time it was on sale, and it gave me about the same estimate. However, lt arrived faster.

      • Mines says 5 to 10 working days

  • +1

It makes you think they have a massive overstock with so many 'daily promotions' we keep seeing for these units…

  • Does anyone know if the $50 eBay Plus voucher works with this?

  • This is a good monitor, I have it, but after looking at an ultrawide my friend has at office, I feel like I should switch. And the blacks on the VA are amazing.

    • Would you say the xiaomi curved monitor would be better than this for gaming and general use?

      • Most probably. There was another person on this forums who had both xiaomi and the dgf and ended up selling the dgf. I dont have experience using the UW though. And you need a decent GPU. Atleast a 1080Ti/5700XT or the 2070/2070Ti.

      • +1

Absolutely not, the deeper blacks are nice, but the overall poor performance of VA compared to everything else isn't really worth it.

Went from the xiaomi to the DGF, VA doesn't really handle things like "colour" and "motion performance" very well compared to stuff like TN, IPS, and stained glass windows.
Inky blacks are really nice for watching movies in a dark room, but it stands out like a dogs lipstick how washed it is if you have a decent display next to it.

        • Cheers. Enjoying my current ips but people here rave about 120 hz and 4k so I'll probably upgrade

          • @belongsinforums: I went from an older 90ish hz IPS 2k screen for my center display, to the xiaomi, to the DGF

165hz + gsync\freesync support AND it being bright as hell is nothing to sneeze at, while it isn't full HDR, it still did the job in cyberpunk ;)

  • Got one thanks OP

  • I bought this monitor and love it. I recommend this monitor 👍

  • -1

I have made an account just to warn people about this monitor.
I actually have two of these on different machines.
Both will flicker and turn off for 1-2 seconds randomly at any time.
I see other people having no problems so it might just be my bad luck but I thought people should know that this is a possibility.

    • Thanks mate, hope you got a refund. I'll look out for it!

      • I unfortunately still have them

        • Just wondering if you have checked your advance display settings? I have to change the hz from 59.99hz to 60hz on my pc for one of my dell monitors from time to time which stops it from doing the flicker thing you seem to be having. Not sure why my computer doesn't remember the 60hz selection and goes back to 59.99hz from time to time though… it's a bit annoying.

  • Mine is buggy as well. If you have a cable plugged that been unplugged at the other end, for example, you unplug the HDMI cable to plug in a fat USB drive, It will stay stuck in sleep mode, when you turn on another device and output via displayport

  • Would this be fine to use with ps5 as well when you want to ? It has inbuilt speakers correct?

    • +1

Hey, ps5 doesn't support 1440p yet but you can use 1080p. And no it doesn't have inbuilt speakers. Monitors with speakers sound like trash anyways.

  • I got my monitor today. Its great, not sure if I can tell the difference between 144hz and 165hz. Oh well, but the 1440p and colors are great!
