Lol I barely had time to click edit before someone fixed my title for me already 😆

it's like playing snap around here, especially in the Deals zone :D

What makes a dot page good for people? I prefer blank normally which let's me draw/write whatever, wherever.

    • +3

      Bullet journaling

      • +6

Oh, well I better pull the trigger then.

        Plus I bought some.

    • +2

I prefer the plain (blank) pages.
These dotted ones are also good. the dots are not as intrusive as lines.
especially at a very discounted price

It helps with drawing straight lines without a ruler. So it's useful for things like wireframe sketches of websites, etc.

Bargain price. If it was for the A5 version I would have brodened them. A4 too big for me.

    • +4

      Use a Guillotine and you'll get 2x A5s :D

      • +7

        I tried your suggestion and all I got was 2x 96 page loose-leaf A4s…

        • oh boy… ;)

      • I tried this… all that happened is I got the tip cut off….😂

      • +4

        That’s not Moleskine though 😕

    • Would cost more than $5 to skin a mole to get an A3 sized skin for the front and back, it’s a great deal.

I wish you can do click & collet

Wow this is insanely cheap, right? would these be good gifts for someone artistically inclined? Never owned anything Moleskine.

    • +4

Yes. 40 is a bit much, but if they're on sale for 25 or so I tend to pick these up. If you have friends who journal or use fountain pens, these are like the Mercedes/Lexus of notebooks. Honestly I think they've dropped in quality a little over the years, but for $5 it's great.

      • +4

Moleskine paper is not that great for fountain pens, they tend to bleed through if you have a something that emits a fait bit of ink. My Lamy Safari with M nib bleeds with Moleskine but not Claire Fontaine.

        • +2

Yeah, moleskines I think are notoriously bad for fountain pens.

I personally go for Rhodia, Clairefontaine or Oxford notebooks (which is my go to brand right now because of how relatively cheap it is) from Officework.
Tomoe River is also good with inks and showing their colours, though, I'd never ever get used to how thin it is and how expensive the notebooks that use that paper can be.

Yes definitely. I know about these because my dad loves them and is always happy to receive them as gifts for birthday / fathers day / xmas

  • Had a few in my cart while I was browsing the site. Ended up not going through as they ended up being sold out. Some other nice items around though. Will need to check up on this place from time to time. Maybe these notebooks will be back in stock at a later date. Hopefully pick up some next time. Just wanted to see what a $40 notebook looked/felt like.

  • Ohhh sooo devo. Looks like they're all sold out. :(

Beware when buying out of the Outlet.

I once bought stacks of discounted notebooks, and some cheap $4 item, and paid delivery ~$9.

They found out they ran out of notebooks and delivered the cheap $4 item which was overpriced including delivery.

I complained but they did jack diddly.

    • ah shit I bought some 50c erasers in my order, hope that doesn't backfire.

Thank you, picked up a couple for myself and a couple on behalf of friends. Great price!

  • Waited and wept. All gone.
