The worst part about being in SA, is that I can't get cheap alcohol from NQR And Aldi etc.

    Don't see why it's illegal. I brought a bottle of Aldi champagne over to Adelaide. As long as it's not breaching biosecurity laws i.e. you can't bring fruit in

        @nuttapillar: It's not illegal to bring (sealed) bottles of alcohol into SA from interstate.

    In SA supermarkets aren't allowed to sell alcohol. So NQR and Aldi don't stock alcohol there. That regulation has no effect on alcohol you buy outside of SA though. There's nothing stopping you bringing alcohol you purchased interstate into SA.
