  • I haven't looked into fitness trackers. What they can do ? Can they measure Calories intake per day etc ?

    • +1

      not intake.

There's apps (eg. FatSecret) that can though.

This is more for step counts, calories burnt, etc…

    • +1

      Calories intake per day

how is a fitness tracker going measure how much you eat?

you need an app to input what you are eating.

    • Googling a review of this device is probably a good way to find out what it does.

  • +1

if this has NFC that works globally, xiaomi will sell hundreds each day.

    • -1

why and what you want to use NFC for that you want it included in these mibands?

can't you use your phones NFC or buy some other tracker that has NFC?

      • @pinkybrain why are you fighting with everyone ? RUOK ?

    • Does it have NFC that works globally?

  • so is this price just for the unit, not including the band and charging cable?

    • +1

      include everything in the box

      just check the reviews

      • ok, i was thrown by the '50cm charging cable' option, but i guess that's an extra cable on top

  • How to get that price? Get the China No NFC version? Whats the diff with the Global version?

    • +2

I have the mi band 5. From our perspective in AU, there is no real difference between the models. One has NFC that works exclusively in china with alipay, the other does not. Chinese version automatically switches to english when you pair it with your phone. So it really does not matter which model you get. Just get the cheapest one.

  • This or the mi watch lite or the honor band 6, both of the later ones have bigger screens and 10-20$ more expensive

  • Up to version 6 now and still no NFC for payments.. you think they'd take the comments on Ozbargain right to the top of their Product log?

  • +1

For anyone keeping track, mine arrived today

    • That was nice to let us know! I'll be keeping an eye out for mine now :)

  • What's this like compared to the Mi watch?
I want this for sleep tracking. The Mi watch sounds like it is a better performer than this band 6.

Does it matter if I get the global or CN version of the Mi watch?
