Oppo is the only other brand I'd consider around that price.
Anyone got Oppo A74 or A91?
Really happy with the A52, upgraded from S9. A52 beats it in every respect. Wont ever buy a flagship phone again
flagship phones are too expensive these days.
Yeah $1000 more than what I paid for A52. Didn't see the point. More so when A52 had bigger battery, headphone jack and SD card.
I have the S9+ and main gripes are 64gb Internal storage size, and battery life. How is A52 for camera (priority), speed and battery compared to your S9?
Battery charge 30min every second day. It's great. S9 had 3000mAh vs 4500mAh A52. Camera and speed superior in A52 hands down.
Side note, battery was getting bad on my S9. Cost $150 to replace it. I bought A52 for $430 from edu store, sold old S9 for $320. No brainer imo.
Only advantage S9 was notification light led that A52 doesn't have.
Another OPPO Family phone if you want to spend less, Vivo Y70 with 8GB/128Gb with AMOLED Screen, $297
@bobokingdom: Does Vivo Y70 comes with NFC?
@arctan: Yes, it does.
Only down side I can think of is no wireless charging.
Oh yes that too. Didn't use it in my s9 since it takes twice as long to charge wirelessly
I got the A70 and wife has the A51 and both excellent phones and great value. I would be upgrading to the A72 5G later in the year.
are you happy to go with the a42 5g? pretty good mobile and battery life is a killer if thats what you are after.
These are great choices for the given price range. (Unless you have a phone that Samsung accepted as a Trade-In for a S21).
