EB Games have just added more benefits to their EB World program with yearly birthday vouchers. If you are a level 3 or 4 EB World member you'll receive a $10 voucher, if you're a level 5 EB World member you'll receive a $20 voucher. Birthday vouchers will be sent out on the first day of your birthday month.

    Hm… I am not sure whether the new changes are better:

    • You now get $10 (or $20 if you are level 5 member) for birthday instead of 50% trade-in bonus on games.
    • To reach level 5, you need to be in top 9999 of current L4 + L5 members in terms of yearly carrots accumulated for 1 year. If eligible, you only get L5 for 1 year. This repeats every year.

      I never trade in games, most of the time it's more beneficial to sell them yourself privately. So for those similar to me it's a good deal

      Never mind, just confirmed with EB manager, yes it resets after 12 months.

      Total scam.

        On the website, go to "Notifications Settings" and change "Vouchers/EB World updates" to Yes. Mine was set to No for some reason. I changed it to Yes and got the voucher the next day.

          I still didn't receive it, but they were able to generate a voucher for me. Apparently there's a $50 min spend? 😑

    Got mine today (June bday). Has a one month expiry. The same email has the 50% trade in bonus, which expires eom.

    btw i just got sn email from eb.
    the boost to level 5 for thd top 10000 till august 31 is only for 1 year!
    feel s bit ripped off

    Just realised I missed the email from a year ago and you can only activate it within your birthday month. Mine was sent on the day.
