Haven't seen any specials on this one recently. Seems to be a popular model.

Needed a new trimmer, thank you
How does this compare to the Philips? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/623493
Get the Philips, that's waterproof at least.
I have this exact Wahl in red. A drop of water ruined the whole device. Not kidding, they want to charge $90 + delivery for repairing it. I switched straight to Philips which served me well for 4 yearsI had the exact same problem. A bit of water inside and the charging circuit was busted and the whole motor rusted. Lukily I managed to clean out the motor, but can now only run it while plugged in.
Yea mine burned out a few weeks ago
yeah got some water on mine and it would not turn off at all until the battery was completely drained
Yep same issue
I have this model and it’s not great imo, I’d defiantly look into it before making the purchase.
I’ve got the first as well as the latest revisions of this shaver - first version had issues with the rubber on the power button tearing and falling out, plus a dodgy charging socket on it. Revised version has fixed both these (or at least changed, remains to be seen if it’s fixed it but it feels like they did).
Quite happy with the performance of this trimmer, but not sure how it compares against other ones in this price point.
My original revision one just had it's power button fail as you've described, albeit after 4 years of once a week shaving. It still works but at risk of the electronics being exposed. If only I could find a replacement part for it.
I've had mine for about 4yrs no issues. Use it every second day to trim my beard. This is the second one I've bought, the first I had for about 6yrs and then knocked it if the shelf. It was never the same again.
Maybe this is why they made the stand?
It's a trimmer or not a $150 tincture of beard oil… just in case you clicked through from the thumbnail thinking "WTH is that?"
