I am trying to find a supply and install tradie for my investment home in weribee. Happy to pay fair price for well reviewed tradesman. I got a quote from my real estate agent's installer and he gave me 2750$ installed installer for Mitsubishi heavy electrical reverse cycle 7.1 kW SRK model. Other Forums recommend ezyair but they don't service Werribee area.My home is single story and pretty standard installation. I feel it's high but unsure. So hence reached out to the ozbargain community. Please help if you have any experience with tradies.

See also this old thread. The prices are out of date but there are some good tips.
So the price you received was supply and install?
Yes
The unit seems to run from 1650-1800. if you can find them in stock.
So overall okay price.

Plum Heating and Cooling is who I’ve used but I’ve also used Dave from https://www.dnbair.com.au/. Both were excellent
If you’re happy to supply the unit yourself, Bunnings normally do a very good price on the MHIAA units

Install should be about $800-$900 if it’s a standard back to back so you could save a couple of hundred dollars doing it that way.
Probably about right. Mitsubishi are a good brand and install alone is normally about $800+
