    Thx got one.
Anyone know if the eddy+ lid fits on this bottle?

    • This cap is compatible with Chute Mag bottles only
Universal Cap: Compatible with Eddy + and Chute Mag stainless steel vessels

      • Yeah saw this, makes no sense to me.

    • Just checked for this bottle and yep the lid fit fine but the straw was way too long.

    • +1

Yep it fits a eddy+ and eddy+ kids lid but you need a kids size straw. I wanted a vacuum sealed bottle for my kids but CamelBak don't sell one so we bought this bottle and a kids lid and they fit together even though CamelBak don't say they are compatible. http://imgur.com/gallery/91YQeU5

      • thx mate, I just got my one, and yeah it fits and works as expected. Trim the straw from the Eddy+ and its fine.
        Wish I got more now.

  • Can you tell me the height without the lid, please?

  • Is this better than Frank Green for coffee drinkers? tbh I'm not a big fan of sipping from Frank Green cups

    • +2

In my opinion, this cup is absolutely better than my Frank Green. The Frank Green I find superb but the lid is ridiculous and a pain in the arse to clean. This one is simple and does the job and seemingly more robust. The Frank Green does look more snazzy though.

I just purchased the black version of this Kinto one. If you wait a week I'll give you a review. They both look similar in the way they operate and capabilities but the kinto looks way better in my opinion.

      • +2

MrFizz. A week? Wow. You sip REALLY slow.

        • +3

I need to wait for it to be delivered…. Also, I want to test thoroughly before I give you a review. I'm not going to be all willy nilly about it.

        • Maybe shipped by sea

          • @CyberMurning: Bought through eBay so who knows when it will show up….

          he's fizzin out

Results are in, the Kinto is a nicer mouth feel, looks nicer and I feel significantly fancier drinking from it. BUT it’s not dish washer safe. So if you need a more robust bottle go the camelbak which I’ve found great or if you are a more fancy pants type person go the Kinto.

      • question: can we put coffee, milk, tea into that kinto? someone said no as it will smells, but i thought the purpose of this things is to carry hot coffee around?

        • +1

I’ve had it for one day and only put black coffee in it soooooooo…. I have no idea. I’ll let you know in a month haha

          • +1

@MrFizz: yeah i got the kinto too. hopefully this is not just $30 warm plain water bottle

Are there any of these with no plastic that touches the water? After something that's all steel if possible. Don't mind some plastic on the outside of the bottle but not touching the water

edit: found this, no idea if any good - https://www.kleankanteen.com/products/plastic-free-water-bot…

  • Updated to link to the blue one, which still has stock.

  • Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months.

Was interested until I read that.

check the catch link in the description

    • Also, in my experience with Amazon, when I have put in an order when it says that, it's been no more than a week until it shipped but your experience may vary.

  • I've just requested a mod change the link to the Catch link which seemingly has stock. I tried to but it wouldn't let me.

Thanks OP, got one from catch.

Be careful, the blue one on amazon says 1-2 month dispatch :/

    Thanks OP

  • How is this for capuccino's?
The decor thermal did not work well with froth (it would just stay in the cup, while the liquid pours out)

    • oh man I just bought one yesterday…

  • Will Amazon have more stock?

I'm choosing not to support a company that donates to the NRA, (National Rifle Association in America). Schools should be for learning, not shootings. Lots of info on the Web about Camelbak (and Giro/ Blackburn) parent company Vista Outdoors supporting the NRA.

Question for anyone who owns these please!

Does this fully seal so it can be thrown in a back pack? I'm loking for something that I take to work on my bicycle, then drink hot when i get there.

It looks like this one doesnt, and I would have to get the Chute Mag Vacuum Insulated 350ml: https://camelbak.com.au/water-bottles/chute-mag-vacuum-insul…

If so, anyone got and advice/alternatives to the Chute Mag model?

    • Been using mine for couple of days now. It's fully sealed and doesn't leak.

  • Just got mine yesterday, the 360 lid is terrible, as one of the Amazon reviews mentions…. "liquid flow is very slow and the angle needed to get liquid out can be quite awkward when drinking."

second this. good solid build though. on to the next keep cup hunt
