  • whats the button for again ? on off ? why you want it to be off ?

one review says: "Very useful the power button in case you want to load any device with the pc off. "
hmm what is the scenario/example of that? without a pc where can you load?

also the usb type B on the side, that goes to the laptop, right?
hmm quite useful, compare with the usual desktop charger (unless you need QC 2.0/3.0)

    • Power button is so you can turn it off when it's not used and save power.

Type-B is for connecting to the PC.

      • " when it's not used and save power."
so the usual desktop charger (the 4 ports, with QC etc) doesnt have power button, means they keep drawing power?

        • Yes USB ports are always drawing power. Obviously the more you plug in the more power.

    • Turn off your web cam for privacy. Turn off your hard drives to save power. Turn off your gaming controllers (works great if you want to turn off wired joysticks with rumble - yeah I know, I'm a dinosaur).

  • Should I be getting something usb 3.1 instead?

    • USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 are the same thing ;)

I assume you mean USB-C? Sure if you have something that supports it.
