If you’re too ignorant or lazy to check the macro’s of a product and base your purchase decisions solely on what section of the supermarket stuff is located, then good luck to you.
Well, most people are indeed too lazy/ignorant, so yeah.
The irony of these downvotes, indeed.
If you're cycling more than 50km you'll probably appreciate this crap
+1. When mountain biking sometimes a clif bar is a determining factor to whether i can make it back to my car or not. quick boost
Its a source of energy for health activities, so I would say that its place is deserving in the health food aisle.
this "crap" not only has sugar/carbs but has all the vitamins and minerals you need when you're energy stores are depleted such as protein, vitamin A, Bs, C, D, E Calcium, Magnesium, iron and potassium
Yeah, minuscule amounts, barely covering a fraction of your daily intake needs. Better options out there.
Some people will believe anything. No wonder they put it in the "health" aisle with all the other junk food there.
Oh man I love clif bars!! Remember getting a few boxes from the health food expo few years ago …..
Woolies seem to have these half price this week - $1.50 each, so same price as Amazon without having to buy the box of 12 (and have other flavours at the same price)
there is no point debating if it should be in the health aisle or not, things in the health aisle doesn't mean they are all healthy and things aren't in the health aisle doesn't mean they are not healthy either.
basic rule is, if you are sitting in the office or at home most of your day then you shouldn't be eating this bar. This bar is not a substitution for a proper meal.
Wrong. My favourite time to eat these is slumped on the couch watching the telly with the few crumbs collecting on my t-shirt (which if large enough I will dutifully pick up and put in my mouth), sometimes after a meal as dessert.
This bar is not a substitution for a proper meal.
Who said it was? CLIF call it an energy bar. I sometimes call it that but mostly I call it a moderately tasty snack.
Seems to be out of stock
Cheers picked up a lazy 20
