Is This Nano Liquid Screen Protector Toxic?

Hi everyone, I am interested in reapplying an oleophobic coating on my smartphone and I figured Nano Liquid screen protectors should do the trick. I came across this stuff on Aliexpress and just when I was about to buy it I wondered whether this stuff is toxic and not safe to use. It's just the thought of buying some random vile liquid/chemical off Aliexpress that has me concerned and I am not willing to fork out 20ish dollars for a Spiegen one.

    Most of this stuff is just silicon dioxide (silica), which is not toxic. It’s as cheap as sand and it’s in you right now.

    This stuff is pretty common in the coating world.

    I would read the reviews on AliExpress on its effectiveness, but save your money on the Spiegen one, it's probably the same thing with a fatter profit margin ;-)

    This stuff won’t do anything useful to your phone. It’s designed to lighten your wallet.
