It's still about $50 more expensive than dual SIM models sold overseas
We have GST and labour?
And you think all those do not exist elsewhere?
RRP of A52 5G in India is 28K INR which is about A$490, compare that to A$749 for Australian stock. That's a good GST you have there.
@[Deactivated]: a52 5g 128gb is 34990 INR about $615aud so am confused at your pricing.
your price is for the 4g.
And you think all those do not exist elsewhere?
Cost of living varies an incredible amount. Ever wondered why most things are so much cheaper in most developing countries?
@Techie4066: Because they're manufactured locally using cheaper local labour and materials.
Now, would you be so kind to explain me why phone manufactured in Vietnam would cost differently in India and Australia. I'll wait.

Oh dear. This is basic information you can find online.
Retailers charge more because people can afford more. The cost of labour in the retail sector is also much higher. I'd imagine shipping costs would be higher too. That's just 3 reasons among many.
@Techie4066: Yeah, that price gouging based on what people can afford clearly contradicts your first point about cheaper labour, isn't it?
@[Deactivated]: It's not price gouging (but you can falsely consider it that way if you want), it's the price mechanism working to take into account our lower price elasticity of demand. Products can sell at the same quantity in developed markets despite being relatively more expensive.
I don't perceive any of my points contradicting each other? Retail labour being more expensive here only adds to the cost further. Why don't you conduct your own research.
@Techie4066: A52 5G RRP is US$499.99 in USA.
Please make up something other than retail labor costs or admit that it has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
@[Deactivated]: I can't be bothered, ask Samsung, retailers and do research. I already know cost of living is higher in Australia than the US, because the US has many times more consumers and therefore much more demand, which provides economics of scale. There's also a lot of manufacturing there, and a wide range of retailers competing with each other. I'm not an economist so I can't explain it to you in detail. I don't think people would want to talk to someone so condescending for no reason.
now that i think of it, note 10 + for $50 more is a comparable choice. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/621763
Wow. Almost pulled the trigger on this A52 for the wife. Instead will grab the Note 10+, which I already have for myself. Thanks.
OW were very quick to beat the price
Getting my wife a new phone. This or Google 4a?
Thanks - not that keen on TCL.
Note 10+
Bit too big with a note 10+. She just uses it for calling & surfing internet.
Why are there so many discounted samsung phones?
They were overpriced to start with, this should have been the launch price.
Overpriced, and they have way too many in stocks because they think we are crapple sheeps that upgrade simply because
Can confirm that the Samsung Edu store is still selling at $599.20 (with a 20% discount applied)
Bought this one 2 weeks ago, very happy with it.
Does this do Dex?
Same price as everywhere else, including Samsung, except Officeworks of course where they drop it by $1 to avoid the price beat discount.
