Nice to stack with CBA rewards "$10 cashback when you spend $30 or more at Booktopia".

Considering postage is $7.95, I'm guessing you only need to buy $22.05+ worth of books to qualify as there's no mention of shipping not counting towards the $30..

Shame, looking at my wishlist on booko, everything is way cheaper on other sites, even after cashback :(

Postage kills it when comparing to the 'free' postage sites.

    • That's the story every time.. cashback on Booktopia is barely half its value if at all it is.

  • Most books I buy are only stocked on amazon

    Standard Shipping
We charge a flat-rate of $7.95 per order to be sent to any Australian delivery address, or $9.95 for any New Zealand delivery address, for as many items as you'd like to order. All shipments will have full tracking available

    • stuff that they should get with the times

  • Looks like standard shipping is $7.95.

    edit: too slow

Shipping ends up eating the $10 cashback. All the books I'm looking at for my kids are cheaper on Amazon and Big W after adding the $7.95.

Code: INFINITE5 gives 5% off. Not much I know, but better than nothing…

Cashback will fail/decline if this code is used as it's assigned to another publisher:

Cashback is ineligible when using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

      • Hey TA,
I don’t see any T&Cs on this, is buying ebooks eligible?

        • Yep, this should be fine :)

      • TA Booktopia has emailed free shipping offers ATM too so does that mean using these codes fail the $10 cashback too?

        • Hi. Would love to say it’s ok, but I won’t commit. They specifically told us that codes need to be listed on Cashrewards. It’s totally up to you if you want to give it a crack. Sorry I can’t offer more than this.

          • @tightarse: Yeah I think I'll pass. Thanks though. With the free shipping it's a great deal but otherwise to me it's just negating the free shipping code at the moment unless you really we're gonna buy a book anyway (which I wasn't bar this offer).

Damn, I thought this was book depository. $7.95 shipping kills the bargain.

    Ouch.

When did Booktopia become so uncompetitive with their pricing? I'd ordered from them on three dozen occasions over the past decade (usually thanks to the free shipping code you'd receive when clicking through from Booko - which now appears to have been revoked), but on checking my current wishlist of 50+ books in Booko, there wasn't a single book they were cheapest on, and they only ranked in the top 5 sellers for three books.

    • If you have an account with them, they seem to send out a free shipping offer once a month or so on a $39 minimum spend, but yea generally don’t see the appeal when amazon/bookdepository are same price/cheaper with free shipping (and next or 2 day shipping with prime)

      • Book depository is not usually the cheapest now either….

  • +2

yeah thot was book depository and it's free shipping… pass

  • Can we use the booko code to get free delivery?
Will that stack with the cash back?

  • eBooks purchases has free delivery.. Is that eligible ?

    • Ebooks are eligible but just beware even though my listing said "epub format" you can actually only read the books by installing and using the kobo app
Had to cancel and buy direct from the publisher (they will provide an actual epub format)
Edit: they only provided me store credit - bit of a gyp since it wasn't really as described

  • Booktopia sent out by email a free shipping code currently . Will this be invalidating the $10 cashback? If so then I won't rush to get the cashback as paying shipping means this is pretty much a $2 or so discount..
