  • Will this work with type C phones and tablets?

do you have one with dual HDMI ports?

  • You've mentioned 4K 60Hz but the product page says 4K 30Hz. Given the price I'm assuming the latter…

    • The 6 in 1 says it has 60hz.

The Amazon listing for the second hub does say it's 4k60, but it also says:

      • 5gbps USB 2.0 ports - the ports are blue so either that's just a typo and they're 3.0 after all or it is USB 2.0 and the ports are 480mbps, not 5gbps
      • Gigabit ethernet port, but then mentions speeds of 10/100mbps, not 1000mbps

Wouldn't be surprised if it's only 4k30 after all.

      • Wouldn't be surprised if it's only 4k30 after all.

I doubt even the seller knows. Just dumping boxes.

  • Any reviews on this? Bought another brand but didn't really work well especially with bluetooth headphone.

There has been a lot of these cheap usb c docks on OzB lately but none seem to have both dual HDMI and ethernet. The only docks that I can find with both these are in the hundreds of dollars.

Just buy from quality brands, unless there are solid reviews from these small brands. I had eBay adapter burnt my usc c daughter board on my mac. The other working ones gets insanely hot if you use power passthrough. Lention, Ugreen are both solid, Wavlink and Comsol are good too. Or just fork out to HP, Lenovo or Dell's docking station.

    • Tend to agree and most of those look a lot neater with most ports at the back. Was looking at something like the Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 (good if under $200 from time to time), 90w which should be enough for most work laptops (the place I'm meant to be starting uses HP not sure if what their equivalent dock is or if better). Umart site has a compatibility list as workstation lappys may want more.

I've already got a desktop with 2x 32" dell monitors with plenty of outputs so guess just try and keep the laptop separate and switch the screen inputs, my mx vertical has multi device switching, not this keyboard.

Probably not worth trying to run The desktop through it if it's just WFH 1-2 days a week, although a KVM switch could be better?

Ps these look ok, at least wavelink make proper docks and have been around for a while
