Receive up to $100 Cash Back When You Purchase 4 or More Participating Michelin Products @ Michelin Tyres

290

Haven't seen anyone post this deal and it started in April, now extended until 31th of May.

Buy 4 tyres and get $100 off participating Michelin tyres. Includes popular models such as Pilot Sport 4/4S and Primacy.

Redeeming In-Store
You can access the promotion & redeem in-store at the following participating dealerships:

  • Bob Jane T Marts
  • JAX Tyres
  • Tyreright
  • Tyreplus
  • Michelin Service Center
  • Costco

Michelin hasn't had a cash back or deal for a while I believe, so this is the best you'll get if you want some Pilot Sport 4/4S. Go to Costco for a even better deal. I got a set of 235/40R18 PS4 for $564 ($141 per tyre), which I though was pretty good. I'm on my 2nd set so that's how impressed I am with the grip levels.

Very big difference between a bank deposit and a gift card…

    • I suppose one is if you dont give them your bank details…

When is Michelin gonna have buy 4 for price of 3 sale? Probably never :(

    • I had it last year at Bob Jane's and I think it is still on

      • Michelins? I've never seen them have buy 3 get 4th free. Only cashbacks.

        • -3

Well I got them what can I say? Look better

          • @Laziofogna: Must've been a special deal for you not an actual Michelin promo.

PS Didn't neg you but it's deserved lol.

      • There is no Michelin 3 for 4 sale at Bob Jane, here is their current promotions page:

    • Probably to do with the shortages they've had for ages due to covid.

Last August at my rego check I was told to replace my set of Primacy 3 soon, as I definitely wouldn't pass the next check.

Called around some places and either the price was too high, or there was no stock. My Costco would get limited stock at random times but as I couldn't reserve stock/book installation it was too much of a gamble to drive 30 minutes to try my luck.

It got to a point where I was no longer fully confident of my tyres and I just went to my local tyre shop and ordered them (6 week wait) and I finally got them installed around the Easter long weekend for $159 each. Luckily they let me pay the price the tyres were at the time of ordering as on the day of installation they were selling for $179 each.

      • Covid only started last year. I have not noticed they have the 4 for price of 3 for the past decade.

        • My Primacy 3 set was 4 for the price of 3. Don't remember exact purchase date but manufacture date on the tyre was November 2017.

  • Love Michelin tyres. Have found they consistently outlast every other tyre out there. Currently running a set of pov spec Energy XM2 on my work vehicle and they currently clocking 60000 kms with excellent wear. Hard to find that sort of performance from a set of Linglong or Goodride. That said customers love the Linglongs and Goodride due to massive initial cost outlay differences.

    • How do you drive?

I have Bridgestone S001s which are approaching 75k with about 30% highway driving. No track days but I have driven hard on them more than a couple of times. I drive like a grandma in any other case.

      • Why buy those tires off your don’t track? I got about 40k with spirited driving and 4 track days out of pilot sport 3

        • They came with the car.

          • @phamaroo: Strange to have a performance oriented tyre on a regular car?

            • @onlinepred: Polo GTI.

              • @phamaroo: Yea okay if you don’t drive hard you could save lids and get a better overall tyre than s001. In most cases even the cheaper Michelin will feel and perform better than s001. I came from s001 and r003 to pilot sport 3/4.

Probably like a grandma. Nice and easy on the gas and brakes. Nothing to extreme in corners. But lots of weight in the back as it often doubles up as a delivery vehicle.

  • What are you driving to get them for that little?

My car takes 235/40R18 95Y and they're quoted at $200/cnr.

    • Agreed mine are staggered 235/40ZR19 96Y XL and 265/35ZR19 98Y XL and I'm getting quotes of $405 and $459 for one tire.

    • Got the exact specs and Costco quoted me $166 or so normal price. I'm in Victoria, if that makes any difference. Car doesn't make a difference, I just told them the size I wanted.

@bangmango - 19" cost more than 18", and 235/40R18 apparently is cheapest out of all 18" sizes for some unknown reason, even less than my previous set of 225/40R18.

      • Ahh. I'd have gone there, but I needed an alignment done as well.

I think there wasn't too much difference once all is said and done.

        • +1

Buy the tyres from Costco. Book alignment elsewhere.

      • +1

235/40R18 is a common tyres size used by many car manufacturers. It was the stock size for older commodores and since there's so many of them on the road there's a large supply of them.

      • GR yaris by any chance?

      • Damnit!

Oh well. Win some, lose some.

  • Love Michelin tyres, I replaced my front after 120k and rear after 180k on a Ford Focus. Most of it was freeway miles but they were great. Replaced the rears with Bridgestone earlier this year as they were on offer. The fronts with Khumo at 120k which I replaced again with Bridgestone at 180k (I bought 4 as they were on offer, might have got another 10k max out of the khumos) as they were nearly worn out. I will sell ithe car soon, otherwise I would have gone Michelin. Not another Ford but the that's a different story ☺️

    • So the Kumhos lasted 60k? Which Focus is this?

  • 2012 trend, the one with the dodgy gearbox

    • Eek the infamous Powershit. I presume a dealer fixed it for you?

      • yeah, nah, yeah nah and on it went. With it being mostly freeway kilometres it hasn't really bothered me apart from them telling me it was impossible what I reported to them. Neutral at 110kph… only did it a few times though and then they flashed the ECU? a few times. The last time I took it back was for juddering when setting off which was last year, October ish. It still judders badly when setting off but on the freeway it's good.

    $25 a tyre cashback…..woooooooo
/End fake excitement over terrible promo

  • For those in southern Sydney, I highly rec Blair's tyres. Got continentals last week for $195 each where Jax, my car, were charging $260. Saved money without having to wait for a gift card
They sell Michelin's too if that's what you are after.

    • Size matters

    • +2

What's the manufactured date of the tyres you got cheaper?

    • Given in most categories Michelin is far superior to continental except off-road.
