Not the all-time cheapest compared to other sites, but if you have money in your steam wallet to burn like me, this was a no-brainer.

  • I find this would be more enjoyable infront of a decent big tv with a good sound system with easy controls,, would not get the same enjoyment out of a small screen that's for sure

Would much rather 120hz+ then the novelty of a big screen, 240hz 1080p or 144hz 1440p monitors can be had for the fraction of what a decent 120hz TV costs.

If I was looking to spend that amount of money on a display, I'd get the Odyssey G9 anyway.

Have you even played the game 🤦‍♂️ tv panels have way better colour and it looks so much better on actual big TVs than that horrible curved G9 monitor. It's also fps on monitors not hz and if the game can run at 100fps there's hardly a difference if it runs at 240fps or what ever your target is unless it's competitive CS when people want crazy high frame rates. Next time you go to the shops go look at an OLED and then your Samsung then tell me how much better it will look on that ultrawide 🤣 plus the console can run it at 4k and the PS5 will have 60fps patch for it soon enough

WTF do you mean its "fps on monitors not hz", do you understand that you need to have a 144hz monitor to run a game at 144fps without screen tearing?

I despise OLEDs actually, every single one I've owned has suffered from burn in eventually. I really don't care how great the picture quality is if there is a high chance of burn in within 3 years, even higher if you're playing games with intrusive HUDs, which 90% of them have). Most modern high end phones use OLED, so or course I know what they look like.

If I own a GPU capable of pushing those frame rates in this game (which I DO), obviously I'm going with the higher framerate). Don't try to make the argument that "you don't need 120fps", because you will just be making the same points as people that argue 60fps in unnecessary.

Why are you talking about a potential PS5 patch for the game on a PC post, how is that relevant?

@Vinodra: You're talking about a game that actually doesn't need high fps as its not a First Person shooter and would rather run it at low 1080/1440 on a tiny 27/34" The game is more designed for the big screen hence my comment the PS can run it at a better solution (4K) go ahead and run it at 200fps absolutely pointless on a game like this.. I was using the OLED as an example… Any decent TV will look much better than on a curved matte screen as the game is more of a movie style with walking and small gunplay elements. I have a 144hz monitor and that's def the sweet spot on a 34" couldn't go back to 60FPS but hard to see a difference above 144fps

Luckily my LG CX does 120 and it's Gsync.

        • Jealous, I've got a 65KS8000 and the thing won't die and has light bleed on the edges but its still a great panel

  • Love this game, slow burn but amazing
