Yeah same thing. Ordered McDonald's awhile back for their free delivery but driver was sitting waiting for the order for half an hour. Half an hour wait in McDonald's is impossible. Complained and got credit back but never used them again.
I have done deliveries for menulog , they don't pay well to drivers as compared to ubereats , so most of the drivers tend to move to UberEats or restaurant delivery.
Regarding delivery times , I have myself waited for 30-40mins at McDonald's , HungryJacks as most of the time they are also understaffed.

I deliver for menulog and I can definitely tell you that I've waited at McDonald's for an order for half an hour before. I'd say the average wait time for McDonald's and Hungry Jacks I've experienced is around 15 minutes. Obviously dependant on the area, but this is just my experience.
The drivers are often doing their best and it's in their best interest to deliver as quickly as possible, because although there's not really a rating system, the quicker the delivery, the more deliveries that are done.
It sucks for the customers though. I often feel bad for customers with long wait times and feel obligated to apologise.
Their CS is the worst of the lot, don't accept their BS, be firm and assertive with the outcome you want.
Also pay with PayPal or card with buyer protection.
First time checking this out. Pretty much everything in my area is "Delivered by Menulog" I can't find a single place that's delivered by restaurant? Is there some kind of filter for that option?

Mine was processed on the day of order, so it should be okay in my experience. As long as they accept the order today and not tomorrow.

Restaurant deliver is by Restaurant and cost (pre-voucher) is $32 (free delivery by Restaurant)
Update: Strange, it applied to another restaurant that provides free restaurant delivery.

Anyone else noticed menulog is extremely poor when it comes to delivery timings lately? I ordered from subway last week at 11:30am and they bumped the estimated delivery from 12:15 to 3:30pm. App said driver was at the restaurant waiting for food. Called subway and they said the driver wasn't there and they can't find an available driver.
