Matchbox has teamed up with @targetaus for Take Back Program of Matchbox cars in 10 stores.

Starting today (Earth Day 🌎 ), and running for a month, you can head into one of the 10 participating Target stores around Australia to donate your old Matchbox cars - where the products will then be cycled forward – collected, cleaned and sorted and the toys will then be given a new life through donation to both the Lighthouse Foundation and Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA). The toys that aren’t in usable condition for donation will be sent to a local recycling plant, Future Recycling, to be scrapped locally, put through a shredder and melted into recycled steel either locally or overseas.
