Loss of taste is a possible symptom of COVID-19

        • +1

I just upvoted a JV comment… I definitely need to get tested because I surely have a loss of taste

Not everyone's in Penriff or has an Abcoe near them.

  • +1

Do these taste as bad as they sound?

    • +2

Yes, nothing good will come from this..

    • -1

      Yep…

    • +3

      It actually tastes great.

  • expiry is 22nd april 2021

= highly likely it is illegal to sell this after expiry, not saying it is off though :(

    • +1

It's legal to sell after the "Best before" date.

      • -1

        I’m vic if if it’s O O D it’s illegal to be sold

      • +1

There's a big difference between best before date and expiry date listed on packaging. I believe you are confusing it.

It's not illegal to sell it if it's after best before date.

But if it's a product with a set expiry date that's completely different.

    • Best before is fine just means it ain't in its prime

Use by is as it sounds must be used well prior to this date.

The artificial sweeteners start to taste sour after the best before date…

      • +1

I find that they just lose their sweetness. Expired low calorie drinks taste watered down.

        • +1

I agree, I find that starts to happen about 4 - 6 weeks before the best before date.

  • +1

These are genuinely terrible , I’d avoid even for $4

Give to people you hate at gatherings…

      • -2

Is there a gathering of looney left wing protestors anytime soon?

    • +1

      Cheaper than bottled water.

  • +4

Pepsi Max Mango is okay, definitely drink it when its really cold, plus you get back $2.40 of the $4 hehe

  • +1

    I like these…

since when people start selling buying expired staff

There's difference between "expired" and "best before"

Didn't know employees came with use by dates now too

      • I knew an Employer who would lay off his Employees after 9 years, then a few months later offer them work again. That was 30 years ago though.

    $2.4

  • isn't that expired already?

  • is this a place you go and scout for bargains?

  • +1

Pepsi Max Mango is the only Pepsi I bother with drinking..

  • Best before = never Expired?
If so, why all just marked best before.

    • Some products can be consumed after their best before date (e.g. soft drinks). They are just at their 'best' prior to this date.

Some products cannot be consumed and expire - such as fresh milk - and it can potentially be dangerous to consume them after this date.

The wording relates to the product it is used on.

  • Still drinking the Best Before December 12 Leffe Bonde Beer I purchased back in Nov . Of course it's bottle conditioned, so it doesn't really have a Best Before date.

    • It wasn't bad, I was still drinking the stuff in March although it's a bit flat. I suspect any fizzy drinks past their best before date will suffer the same consequence.

  • Pepsi Max and colas change their taste as they get close to best before dates. Also affected by how they've been stored. I drink a lot more Pepsi Max than I should and I wouldn't go near anything that's less that 1-2 months away from the best before. Just my 2 cents

    • +1

Yep, this so damn much. Especially the no sugar variants, the closer to the "best before" date, the worse they taste… think it has to be something with the sweeteners used. Had a bottle of Coke No Sugar that was like 1 month away, one sip and the rest down the drain. Gross.

  • I’ve never heard of Abcoe, can anyone comment if it’s worth the drive to the locations? Since it’s quite far for me.
