Any Suggestion for Good Modem for Gaming

Hi

Looking for a good modem… been using iinet's modem which i got for free with signing up with them.
downloading, steaming and playing most of the online game is fine, but when i comes dota 2 somehow my ping fluctuate from 25ms to 1000ms..

any good modem to recommend??

    The ping you get from dota2 is dependent on who you play with and what server you connecting to, its got very little to do with your modem besides the fact it will always give you the best ping possible depending on your circumstances.

      only play in Australia server…. so u reckon its nth to do with the modem then?

        Maybe update the firmware if you can, but the fact you are getting 25ms sometimes means its not the modem thats the issue. Could be your iinet service itself.

    Generally its diminishing returns with modems past basic stuff - I would attempt to connect hard wired or through power line adapter if you are not already
