If they rent appliances or are a rent to buy service there is a 99.99999% chance it is a business that preys on the poor and makes them pay way more for stuff than if they just paid upfront. Like pay day lenders.
Yep. This. In my experience these kinds of mobs tend to be very hard to get on with for warranty returns too, so I’d be wary. Who knows maybe this business is much better but nearly all of the rent to own businesses I’ve heard of have been very cut throat.
OP - If you really need an appliance, and are struggling financially (not implying you are, but you’ve mentioned a rental mob) there are other options that are better than renting from these kinds of companies as you’ll end up paying a lot more in the long run if you do rent to own.
Good to know, thanks for the advice guys. Was actually looking to purchase a printer off their site as it's $30 cheaper than at Harvey Norman/Good Guys, but wasn't sure if I should risk it. I might steer clear based on what you said about warranties. Cheers!

We only sell brand new products backed by a Full Manufacturer’s Warranty. We DO NOT sell factory seconds, second-hand products, parallel imports, etc.Purchased a Bambino plus, was drop shipped from GG commercial. No issues, and about $100 cheaper than the next best price so pretty happy.
